Custom Analytics was founded in 1998 by Charles Metcalfe. Mr. Metcalfe has worked in the personal care and pharmaceutical industries for over 25 years. Crystal Carnes and Liz Jones have worked in the industry for over 20 years, and both have a wide range of expertise to aid in any area. Custom Analytics has close to 30 years of experience in analyzing raw materials, bulk and finished products and performing stability and shelf-life testing.

Our staff provides a full range of services from routine analyses to customized analysis for special projects. All projects are performed following the highest standards.

Microbiology testing is performed daily following USP <61> and <62> and <60> methodology. Additional testing, including suitability, and outsourcing preservative challenge testing.

Samples are screened upon arrival to ensure that all information is correct on the sample submission form and the sample label before testing begins. It is at this time that rushed samples are identified. The following information must be correct on the SSF for the samples to be logged in:
– Sample Name
– Lot Number
– Analyte and Specification range
– Company information
– Turn-around request
If the above information is not correct, the samples will be held until email confirmation is received from the customer.

Customers are immediately notified of any issues with samples by our customer service team. If no issues arise, results are released within 5-10 days of their log-in. Results and invoices are sent as a PDF file via email.

Our comprehensive quality program assures that all assays comply with guidelines set forth by the current GMP and USP practices. All results, certificates, and invoices undergo a series of verification checks conducted by multiple members of the quality team.

Custom Analytics employs knowledgeable laboratory personnel who continually develop and improve analytical methods to provide our customers with cutting edge procedures. We can develop and validate analytical methods to meet specific customer needs.
We also provide method validation for your specific product formulation. An estimate for method validation processes can be sent for review and approval. If your company wishes to follow different parameters for method validation, Custom Analytics will do its’ best to work with you to ensure that your product is tested using those special parameters.
