Custom Analytics was founded in 1998 by Charles Metcalfe. Mr. Metcalfe has worked in the personal care and pharmaceutical industry for over 25 years. Custom Analytics has over 20 years experience in analyzing raw materials, bulk and finished products and performing stability and shelf life testing. We provide innovative and unique analytical testing services for the pharmaceutical, dietary supplement and personal care industries. Our staff provides a full range of services from routine analyses to customized protocols for special projects. All projects are performed in following the highest standards. 

Microbiology testing is performed daily following USP <61> and <62>. Additional testing, including suitability, preservative challenge testing, Enterobacteriaceae enumeration, and others are available. Custom microbiology testing is also offered upon request.

Samples are screened upon arrival to ensure that all information is correct on the sample submission form and the sample label before testing begins. It is at this time that rushed samples are identified. The following information must be correct on the SSF for the samples to be logged in:

– Sample Name
– Lot Number
– Analyte and Specification range
– Company information
– Turn-around request

If the above information is not correct, the samples will be held until email confirmation is received from the customer. Customers are immediately notified of any issues with samples by our customer service team. If no issues arise, results are released within 5-10 days of their log-in. Results and invoices are sent as a PDF file via email.

All results, certificates, and invoices are verified by a series of checks by different members of the quality team.

Custom Analytics employs knowledgeable laboratory personnel who continually develop and improve analytical methods to provide our customers with cutting edge procedures. Customized method development is our specialty—we can develop and validate unique analytical methods to meet specific customer needs. We also provide method validation for your specific product formulation, an estimate for method validation process can be sent for review and approval.
